Dr. Elena Sicilia graduated as a Dentist from the University of Oviedo in 2015. After completing her training as a general dentist, she embarked on an ambitious training project as a specialist in Prosthodontics and Dental Aesthetics, which would take her first, during the years 2015-2017, to the International University of Catalonia (UIC) where she obtained a Master’s Degree in Restorative Dentistry and Dental Aesthetics; and then to Tufts University in Boston (USA), during the three-year period 2018-2021, where she graduated with honours as a “Specialist in Prosthodontics“. She was also awarded the “Clinical Excellence Award”, which Tufts University gives to the best student of each graduating class.
During these years he has simultaneously studied for a Master of Science in Dental Research in Boston, researching how to improve precision in digital dentistry, evaluating different methods of digital optics and carrying out an ambitious research project with a team of specialists at the Universities of Tufts, Texas and Oviedo.
After completing her international training, Dr. Sicilia joined the Clínica Sicilia team as a Prosthodontist and specialist in Dental Aesthetics. Finally, in 2023, she defended her doctoral thesis on digital dentistry at the University of Oviedo, obtaining a Cum laude qualification.
