Find out if you have periodontal disease in 10 questions
The assessment of the presence and severity of periodontal disease (PIORREA) must be based on a clinical study carried out by a specialist (your dentist or, if it is a severe case, your periodontist). However, to help you, a group of researchers (P.I. Eke and collaborators) from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta (USA) and the American Academy of Periodontology have developed a questionnaire that has been validated in the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) in the United States.
