Dr. Alberto Sicilia is a distinguished specialist in the fields of Dental Implantology and Periodontics. He is also a lecturer at the University of Oviedo and has played an important role in research and scientific dissemination. He has been president of the European Association of Osseointegration, the most prestigious international association of implantology, which currently brings together more than 2,000 professionals, opinion leaders worldwide. He is also a member of the Spanish Society of Periodontology and Osseointegration (SEPA).

Dr. Sicilia has been a European pioneer in the application of computer-guided surgery and minimally invasive surgery in the treatment of dental implants.

Our centre specialises in implant placement with immediate tooth replacement and advanced dental implant surgery in patients with reduced bone availability.

His study on patients allergic to titanium in implantology stands out. This phenomenon led to the search for a biocompatible and osseointegrable material that would provide a solution for patients with an allergy to titanium dental implants, which still poses a challenge to scientists today.
