Dr. Desiree Brito Batista trained as a dentist at the Universidad Alfonso X El Sabio (Madrid, Spain), where she began her clinical career with a strong interest in orthodontics, endodontics, and restorative aesthetic dentistry. From the beginning of her training, she stood out for her vocation for comprehensive dentistry and her commitment to continuous updating in advanced treatment techniques.
Training in restorative dentistry
She later expanded her education with a Master’s Degree in Endodontics and Restorative Aesthetic Dentistry at the Mississippi University Institute (Madrid, 2007–2009), strengthening her knowledge in endodontics and complex restorative treatments.
Specialization in orthodontics
She then focused her professional development on orthodontics, completing a University Specialist program in Interceptive and Corrective Orthodontics, as well as a Master’s Degree in Clinical Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at UCAM – Catholic University of Murcia. This training allowed her to specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of malocclusions, both in growing patients and adults, with a multidisciplinary approach.
In recent years, she has further complemented her career with ongoing training in digital orthodontics and aligner systems, especially Invisalign, participating in advanced digital planning programs and complex case management. Her current clinical practice focuses on modern orthodontics, interdisciplinary treatment, and aesthetic dentistry, integrating digital tools to improve precision and predictability of treatments.
